FIGHT FOR LIBERTY!
BIOECON can be thought of as a laboratory for actively experiencing what kinds of human relations we seek, what style of life we desire, what values we hold, what options we can create to mediate our exchanges and interdependencies.
It is a tool for experimenting new relationships to each other, to nature and to the urban and non-urban worlds we are creating.
We are growing a peer-to-peer culture that promotes free cooperation of producers and that goods, services and culture are accesible through decentralised distribution networks.
BIOECON can be used by everyone, at any age or in any situation, with different resources and capabilities.
It aims to be a contribution to the rethinking required in the belief that through conscious thought and action we can change both the world we live in and ourselves for the better. This is going to take a lot of hard work.
"A person first starts to live when he can live outside of himself. In other words, when he can have as much regard for his fellow man as he does for himself. I believe we are here to do good. It is the responsibility, of every human being to aspire to do something worthwhile, to make this world a better place than the one he found. Life is a gift, and if we agree to accept it, we must contribute in return. When we fail to contribute, we fail to adequately answer why we are here." Albert Einstein
